Gym Use & Rental

The Gym is finished and open!

The gym is open through February for rentals and events. After that, there may be times when tenants need to relocate temporarily into the gym for lessons and classes, while their floor of the building is being retrofitted. During those times, the gym will be closed for rentals and events. Please check our online calendar below for gym availability and updates.

Our gym is the perfect spot for both community events and private functions. Rent our gymnasium, kitchen, stage, green room, tables, and chairs.

Open Gym Procedure

  • Visit the office for Open Gym access. Open Gym is generally available anytime there is not a scheduled activity in the gym Monday-Friday between 10am-4pm. Check the gym calendar below for scheduled activities.

  • All gym users must sign in at the office before use. We are unable to offer Open Gym if the office is closed.

    • All participants must sign in at the MV Community Center Office for Open Gym use.

    • All participants must follow the Gym Rules posted on the door of the gym.

    • All participants must have completed a liability waiver. Participants under 18 need to have their legal guardian sign the waiver on their behalf.

    • 12 and under must be supervised by an adult or someone 16+.

    • 13-15 may participate independently if a responsible and contactable adult is in the building for the duration of use.

    • 16 and up may participate without supervision.


  • Refundable Damage Deposit - $200
    Cancellation Fee - ask about our cancellation policy when making your reservation.

    $425 – with Kitchen

    Full Gymnasium (with kitchen, stage, and green room)

    Previous Day Set Up Fee
    $75 – Half Day
    $125 – Full Day

    3-Hour Roller Skating Party or Small Group (less than 50 people)
    $100, plus an additional $50 fee for kitchen rental.

    Memorials
    No charge for gym use, donations are appreciated.

    Kitchen Rental for Memorials
    $100 to cover cleaning expense and garbage disposal.

    We are no longer renting tables and chairs for off-site use.

    Before 3:30 when Senior Center is open – 38.
    After 3:30 or days when Senior Center is closed – 47.
    There are 3 designated handicapped parking spots. Overflow parking on Johnson Street.

    What sound equipment is available?
    2 speakers, 2 monitors, 2 voice microphones and stands, 2 instrument microphones and stands, mixer, party lighting, projector and large screen.
